Gomphrena is one of those plants that never has the "wow" factor in flats when customers are shopping. This is very deceiving because once it is planted and the weather heats up, Gomphrena is a real beauty. Tons and tons of smaller globe-shaped maroon colored flowers cover this plant all summer long up to the first frost. Very drought tolerant and almost zero maintenance add to the appeal of this underused plant for our area.
