Gomphrena is one of those plants that never has the "wow" factor in flats when customers are shopping. This is very deceiving because once it is planted and the weather heats up, Gomphrena is a real beauty. Tons and tons of smaller globe shaped purple flowers cover this plant all summer long up to the first frost. Very drought tolerant and almost zero maintenance add to the appeal of this under used plant for our area.
